Tomodachi Life, due out on 6 June, is a 3DS simulator game where you have to take care of a town full of Miis. The English-language version of the game is set for release next month in North America and Europe. I've put my Mii and my boyfriend's Mii in the game. We pledge that if we create a next installment in the Tomodachi series, we will strive to design a game-play experience from the ground up that is more inclusive, and better represents all players.
Miitopia had lots of LGBTQ implications in it (hence why it was rated M in Russia 🤦‍♀️), so I wouldn’t be surprised if a potential future Tomodachi Life game featured gay marriage.
